Difference between dolby pro logic 2 and dolby pro logic 2x? (1 Viewer)

I am considering purchasing the NAD T773 receiver but I see that it only has dolby pro logic 2 and not dolby pro logic 2x. What is the difference? Should I get something like the Yamaha RXV 2400 instead just because it has the DPL2x ?
