I ended up getting some AR performance cables from BestBuy, and noticed that Accessories4Less has the Pro series for a little more money. Are the Pro's noticably better?

Responding indirectly

I think it was Sears that pioneered the GOOD-BETTER-BEST marketing technique. We see Monster carrying this to the nth degree with their plethora of levels -- say, Video 1,2 & 3, not to mention their speaker wires.

So AR is in the game, too. And it's true that BB for some reason sticks with the AR entry Performance. If I were in the market for new VIDEO cables, I would be looking at the AR PRO just because I wud "feel better" about the upgrade. And as a matter of fact, AR goes up to a MASTER grade.

Don't feel badly that you started with entry-level; there's always tomorrow's upgraditis in the wings.

Can GrandMaster be far behind? Perhaps endorsed by the current chess champion.

Actually, they have an even lower grade listed on accessories4less, the standard series AV. I got the series AP (performance), and the pro series is HT. I'll probably just stick with the performance series from BB...

Chu Gai, I actually thought about you when I said that I would "feel better" about one grade of wire;)

Hey Bill nothing wrong about feeling better or for that matter preferring a 'construction' of one over another. However, you stating that you thought about me, well, hell, that's just a little chilling!

Jason,

I see that you are from Orlando. There is a Recoton (parent company of AR) factory outlet store in Lake Mary that has great deals on the entire line of AR Pro cables. They have alot of other stuff there too. You should check it out.
