Just heard this on the news and Entertainment Tonight. She would supposedly play Willis's daughter that is being held hostage with others and its up to John to save the day. God help us if this goes through! Brittney doesnt worry me as far as the movie itself goes. My concern comes from whether her inclusion would mean a PG-13 Die Hard, That would seriously piss me off

Well, seeing that Fox owns this series and runs the television show 24 (with another bungling, blond bimbo easy on the eyes* ), why does this come as a surprise?

*(No offense meant to blondes or bimbos or anybody else, just the scripting for Elisha Cuthbert's character has been SO atrocious at times that one has to wonder the exact motivations of keeping her around...)

i always movie snobs that judge movies far before the movie itself is even made. eg : that director?? the movie will suck! this actor? he cant act! oh, the ending should be like such and such. etc etc.

Vivid entertainment... jeeze you guys crack me up sometimes But yep this is the latest,and it aint good.I want to petition for a new law.No fourth sequels to any movie! None,zip,zilch,zero! The forth is always a disaster! Hell the third of any movie usually is.By the fourth we have gungans or a famous boxer goes to Russia gives sappy speach and in the 5th movie goes broke AND stupid. Now we have Brittney,a cops daughter held hostage . Im soooo sick of this kind of crap When will it end!

I already saw "Die Hardest." It was called Under Siege 2. The "young relative held hostage" was played by Katherine Heigl. Personally, I can't calculate how much more I like her than Britney Spears.

Movie companies really have to stop making a stupid 4th movie in an already good trilogy. It began with Leathal Weapon and Alien 4 was horrible... Yes, I think Die Hard is a good trilogy, and Indiana Jones as well. But why do we have to see a 4th installment???

Brittney Spears might be a decent actress. I don't know. This does seem like an odd choice as I doubt Brittney Spears fans have much love for the Die Hard series and the reverse is obviously not true.
