Just adding fuel...
You know, these guys accepted their job knowing that they would have to lift heavy tvs. We're not talking about forced labor. Why should they expect a tip? They only make $6 an hour? Here's a tip: get another job. I busted my ass working at McDonald's when I was 16, and no one felt the need to tip me. The only reason I tip wait-people is to avoid looking like a social outcast & spit in my food. There have only been a few instances where I felt good about giving them a tip. And yes, I know how much they make. It's also not my problem. If I owned a restaurant, I would pay above minimum.
If I ask anyone to go over and beyond, or do something outside of their job, there is always money in my hand- but not for deliveries! Do you guys tip the UPS guy? Mine has had to lug some pretty heavy boxes over the years.
