I had this on my list as being released on April 2, but I stopped by two Best Buys and neither of them had it.

Anyone find this sitting on the shelves today?

    Thanks for the help.
However I don't think we have a Media Play store in my area. But at least I know it WAS released today, so I'll keep looking. [IMG]

I got my copy in the mail today and was greeted with two treats: First, this has to be one of THE WORST EVER new cover art images. Studios - please listen... STOP WITH THE ENORMOUS HEAD SHOTS!!!! Awful picture, and even worse font for the title. The original image, which is partially on the rear cover is MUCH BETTER. Second, the plastic hub was shattered and my disc got to do the jitterbug all over the sharp plasic edges on its journey to my mailboxes. Scratches all over the thing. Happy Day!

I pre-ordered it and was informed by Deep Discount DVD that it had shipped last week. I too was hoping that they would keep the original cover art but WB thought it was much better to screw it up and make it look like a 4.99 cut out bin special - grrrrrr.

DeepDiscountDVD sent mine out and arrived right on time, I was thrown a bit when I watched the music video on there as within the video were shots of the movie and they looked terrible, but when viewing the movie the movie turned out to be nice and clear, one of my cheer-me-up movies...

Now if they'd get Captain Ron and Remo Williams onto DVD I can rest!

I picked up a copy at my local Circuit City for $15.99. Plan on watching it tonight.

My favourite lines in the movie:

"I know he can get the job, but can he do the job? I'm not arguing that with you...I'M NOT ARGUING THAT WITH YOU!"

"Why are you dressed like Jungle Jim?"

    Cheers!

Looks like it didn't make it to Canada... hope it's not another "Mannequin" which I had to finally order from Amazon.

The transfer was really nice. I don't recall too many distractions...in fact, I can't recall anything bad. It looked clean and sharp and the audio was also solid. This being the first time I'd ever seen it widescreen, I was amazed at how butchered this film was in P/S. It really was like two different films.
