    I have a 150 watt plate amp from partsexpress and 2 aura bass shaker pros (4 ohm).

    I wired them as follows...

    Amp(+) ==== (+)Shkr1(-) ==== (+)Shkr2(-) ==== (-)Amp

    Is this the "best" method in this case?

    Yes, for a pair of 4-ohm shakers, this is the best way to wire them (i.e., in series). Keep in mind, however, that since you’re giving your amp an 8-ohm load, it’s now putting out only 75 watts or so. And that’s divided between the shakers, so they’re each getting less than 40 watts.
