There was a thread on here when Charlotte's Web first came out that the widescreen version of this film could have possibly originally been an open matte film cropped, and that the cropped version was incorrectly done so that some of the human characters heads were cut off slightly.
Someone was going to try to find out if the upcoming full frame version of the movie was the OAR. This was one of my favorite movies as a child, and I would like to buy it, and as much of a fan as I am for widescreen, I can deal with a full frame version of the movie if thats the OAR, and I dont have to look at people with parts of their heads missing!
    Anyone?

I remember someone saying that it was framed correctly. It is supposed to be from the animals point of view.

I have this movie and haven't seen any scenes that look any different than some non-animated movies as far as the framing is concerned. Remember a lot of this is filmed from a pig's-eye view!
