    Hi Gang;

    I'm using Juno with Speedband,and it sucks! Speedband only works 50% of the times,and computer locks up on shut down-which I hear is quite common among dial up services.

    Can't afford dsl right now.

    Anyone using the new Netscape service without glitches?

    Netscape's offering is better then Juno's, primarily because of better POP efficiency. We've had clients use it if they need a dialup connection on the road..

    I would suggest using a local ISP. You generally get better rates and customer service, if nothing else.

    Do you have a cell phone? Many of the major cell phone providers offer data plans that are higher speed than dail-up.

    I second using LOCAL ISP...oh and don't buy into that "speed your connection up" crap they all want to sell...it doesn't work worth a damn.

    If you have to do dial-up...stick with to standard connection.
