Dharman or Rava? That is the question! (1 Viewer)

I am considering either the Adire Audio Dharman or Rava. Both have the same 12" Shiva Driver, but the dharman is vented and the Rava is sealed. I will be using it about 50/50 music/movies. Will I loose a lot of music quality going with the Dharman over the sealed Rava? Or, should I save the 200.00 and go with the Rava? What do I do? Help!

I'd say go with the Dharman. Knowing Dan Wiggins the way I do it will still be a very musical sub and kick ass for HT as well.

It may also depend on the size of the room, but I would lean towards the dharman

Another vote for the Dharman. For home theater use a smaller sealed Shiva just can't compete with a much larger vented Shiva. And the difference music wise will be neglegible.
