Looks great, but too bad the DTS track isn't in English as it's the original language. Wonder if the Miramax release in the U.S. will have a shitty transfer as is their want. :frowning:

Are there any special editions of "Wings of Desire" with DTS German track and English subs?

No. The German "Wings of Desire" special edition has only a Dolby Digital 5.1 track and german subtitles.

Yeah, wonder if we'll get DTS here. The movie isn't screaming for it, but it'd be nice

The R1 release is from Warners Bros, not Miramax, so they'll be no DTS. However, you can at least be assured a decent transfer, unlike Scorsese's last effort.
