Lions Gate/Artisan Home Entertainment has announced Air America: Special Edition due for release on July 20th.

The 1990 Mel Gibson/Robert Downey Jr. comedy arrives with a new 2.35 anamorphic transfer and Dolby Digital 5.1 audio remix. Extras will include an audio commentary with director Roger Spottiswoode, "Return Flight: Revisiting Air America" all-new documentary (with cast & crew interviews, as well as historians and actual Air America pilots), "Air America: Flight Lag" featurette (with vintage on-set interviews and B-roll footage), a "Pre-Flight: Storyboards and Previsualizations" feature and theatrical trailers.

Retail will be $19.98.
