Denon with Divas - Best Buy ? (1 Viewer)

Is the Denon AVR-682 and AVR-982 the exact same as the 1802 and the 2802,

except that they are rated at 6 ohms rather than 8 ohms and seem to sell at B&M and

on the net for less than the 1802/2802 ?

Since they are rated respectively at 100 and 135 WPC can I assume that either would

handle the Divas 4.01 / C3 / and R3s (5.1 setup) ?

Since I do not plan on upgrading to 6.1 surround, would the 1802 or AVR-682

be sufficient or would I really need the 2802 or AVR-982 ?

Hi Al,
I can't help ya with the Denon questions, but according to this FAQ, either receiver should drive the Divas just fine.
