Denon VS Sony (1 Viewer)

Before I rush out to pick up my Denon 2900 I was wondering if the PQ differnce would be that noticable when compared to my current player (Sony DVP-C670D)

Sony

10 bit/54Mhz
intelaced

Denon

12 bit/108Mhz
proggresive

Ps: My display is a Toshiba 50H81 HDTV and I sit about 7.5 feet from it.

Dave, if you ran the '2900 in progressive-scan mode, it would most certainly best the 'C670D, which is just an interlaced player. I have the 'C670D, and it's a great player, but it is not going to compete with today's progressive-scan models. I would expect the '2900 to beat the 'C670D in interlaced mode too, simply because the 'C670D is a few years old and the '2900 is a well-engineered player.
