Hi all,
I´m in Brazil and in my recent work visit to Canada, I purchased a receiver DENON AVR 789 to have a first HT. Very good equipment!
So, I´m looking for a system speakers . I need help for choose speakers adequate to a DENON receiver.
The configuration is just for movies, PS3, some music, etc
Important to say I looking for a system not cheaper not expensive, and my space is large (7,00 metres x 5 metres)
I'm kinda confused between different choices and I'm hoping to get some direction from this forum.
Any recommendation / opinion is welcome
Thanks a lot:emoji_thumbsup:

ha not sure what speakers you have in that country. I have an older denon that i just replaced with a onkyo. That receiver can be paired up with a lot of choices. for starters you can go with a good two way speaker and power handling around 150 watts. Also look at what the sensitive level is, eg.. 92db at a +3-3. with out spending to much look at they are solid with out spending to much.

Marc,
thanks a lot for the recommendation.
In your opinion, for starters, is it better to buy separate speakers (although same barnd) or a integrate set will all the speakers?
Thanks
Albert

you can buy a spk pck that has already been put togather, this can save you some cash. look for something that has a solid build to it. D0 the knuckle test. take your fist and knock on the top of the speakers, if it sounds hollow then the build quality is not there. also feel the weight, this can sometimes tell you how much weight is in the magnets. but the most inportant thing is "listen" low price tag does not mean low quality. And when your ready to buy take some music with you, stuff that you are familiar with. this will let you know if it is worth investing. have fun and good luck
