I have the opportunity to upgrade my Denon 2801 to a 2802 for $150 (from an authorized dealer). Is it worth it?

PLII/DTS-NEO is what I will be gaining, along with component switching (which I won't use). I watch a lot of DSS, so PLII would be nice to have (although people can't seem to agree if it is 'wow' or 'ok').

Anything else I will gain? I use the 2801's DACs for my cd player. I use a Rotel amp, so the 2801 is basically a preamp.

    Thanks

It's a cheap way to get a better all round unit
and the newer modes. Spend the $150, it isn't much
and your increased enjoyment will "amortize" that in
    no time.

You won't be disappointed. I just traded up from 2802 to 3802. The 2802 is a nice receiver.
