can i hook my denon reciever and cassette to my yamaha rx v 477 reciever ?

You can’t connect a receiver to a receiver, nor is there any good reason to do so. However, a cassette deck can be connected to any receiver.

Why do you want to do this Tony? What are you trying to accomplish?

It might be an integrated receiver+casette unit. If so, unless if has line out (RCA cable plugs), you'll have to use the headphone out to input into the other receiver. And you'll have to check volume levels to make sure you're not sending too high of a signal from the powered headphone output.
