Denon, Onkyo, Yamaha, HK, what about NAD receivers, how are they?

I'm considering a Denon AVR-2802 or Yamaha RX-V1200, and MAYBE an Onkyo 696. I was just looking around though, and I thought of NAD. I had heard some good things about them. I think the T751 seems to be in my price range. I realize that this unit does not have PLII and DTSES like the Yamaha or Denon, but how does this thing sound. Does NAD sound so good that I would forget about PLII and DTSES that it doesn't have, and just enjoy the sound of it?

NAD sounds excellent. I tested out a T751 and it exhibits none of the dropout problems that my Marantz SR 6200 has. I would buy a NAD myself, but I want 6.1 and DPL II. I am keeping my 6200 for now, but I would very seriously listen to any new T761 replacements which may come out with 6.1 or DPL II, if that ever happened.

If you like music, and 6.1 and DPL II is not a priority for you, then give NAD a listen. They sound excellent for sure.
