Denon has introduced the 7.2-channel AVR-X1700H receiver to add to its growing portfolio of feature-rich AVRs. Priced at $699, and available from November, the latest 7 x 80W per-channel 5.1.2 home theater hub provides three 8K HDMI inputs, immersive audio formats, and HEOS Built-in multi-room tech.

Sounds like a bug to be fixed in a future firmware version. Of course, you need to be able to enter your wifi password to get the update...

Yikes! Fortunately my Denon can connect to Ethernet. That wifi limit would have tripped me up too.

I suspect Sam’s does as well. I definitely prefer wired, but it’s not always possible. I suspect it could be wired.

I know the 1700 supports Ethernet. More about I’ve got my living room wired. Sam probably doesn’t have his basement ethenet wired.
