Denon DVD-910 subtitles flash (1 Viewer)

Anyone else get this or should I return it as defective?

Was watching Monty Python's Holy Grail and every once in a while the subtitles would flash on the screen, very briefly. I could not reproduce it, but it seemed to happen at chapter stops, when playing normally. (Subtitles set to OFF of course..)

You paid good money for that Denon so expect nothing less.

I had that exact problem with the Denon 900, so I returned it to my dealer and got the 1600 instead!

You may want to exchange it... I have not had the problem with mine yet (However, I have only watched 4 or 5 DVD's with it so far)

Are Denon DVD players, despite nice PQ plagued with problems?
I did a quick search on DENON DVD here and another forum and half of the threads are about malfunction or about a defective product.
