Denon DVD-900 question (1 Viewer)

Looking to purchase this player but first wanted to know if it plays DVD-R's and RW's without a problem. The manufacture's website states 'plays DVD-R's conditionally'???? Also, any experience with DVD+R/RW?

I have yet to see any DVD player play back an RW disc flawlessly. The 900 plays back DVD-R fine, but thats all i have experienced.
