Denon DVD 2800 --I am still very happy!!!! (1 Viewer)

Havn't heard from everyone in a while who was all bent out of shape (for good reason) when this model first came out. I still have mine with the software upgrade and am very happy with it. I just watched Pearl Harbor, Jurassic Park 3 and Rush Hour 2 in the last 2 weeks on my Mitsu 65" HDTV and was totally amazed at the picture. The Progressive scan ability of the Denon is awesome and I still have not seen a DVD player that can top it. Any other comments out there?

Now that you mention it...that is a really nice player. I just took a look at it on the Denon website and was pretty amazed with the specs. That might have to go on the wishlist along with that SVS sub.

What's a 2800 run for these days? Might have to give the Pioneer to someone else in the family.
