Denon avr-550bt (1 Viewer)

Hi gents...new on this site and looking for some advise please.
I currently have samsung home theatre system 5.1
Need to replace the amp to get more hdmi ports and thinking of a denon Avr-550bt
Any comments would be appreciated

If you can provide more info about the current system, it would help. Some of those are proprietary and aren't really designed to use different receivers. Sometimes the speakers have such low impedance it can cause damage. Do you have the model # of the Samsung?
