I see that the AVR-4310CI is already listed on Denon's website, and the AVR-3310CI (and lower priced models) are talked about on C-Net and other web sites. It looks like the 4310 and 3310 are $2000 and $1500 MSRP.

The spec sheet on Denon's website shows that the 4310 weighs around 34 lbs., less than the older 3808 (~39 lbs.) and 4308 (~43 lbs.). It's rated for 130 watts/channel, like the 3808 was.

The specs look nice - 5 HDMI inputs and 2 HDMI outputs on the 4310, Pro Logic IIz/Audessey DSX height decoding, Anchor Bay 1080P upconversion, etc. It looks like it would be a killer pre-pro, but the lighter weight has me concerned about the amplifier performance.

Has anybody gotten their hands on either of these? I'm especially interested to see if the compatibility issues with Sony TVs has been fixed - I have a 60" SXRD set.

Please post as soon as anyone gets a chance to use one of these.

Thanks - Peter
