Is there any difference in sound quality between the two receivers mentioned when used in a basic 5.1 or 2 speaker setup?

reply from members with personal experience is appreciated. Or with any knowledge to the topic.

    Thanks

Honestly, the 1803 is much better than the 1603. The 1603 has alot more in common with the lower model 1403. The 1803 is in the more rigid chassis, and has a lot more weight to it. (both physically and sonically). It has the better remote, mutlt-zone, and 6.1.

In 2 channel, it beats the 1603 as well. considering the small price differential, Its easily worth the upgrade.
