Hi everyone,
This is driving me insane. I had everything running and replaced the tv stand and now I have video but no sound on 2 sources.
Everything running via hdmi.

Blu-ray source is hooked to a ps3 slim - no sound.
Cbl/sat source is hooked to our pvr cable box - no sound
Game source is hooked to a Xbox one - has sound.
Radio works fine as well.

Everything worked great until the tv stand replacement. I've switched the hdmi cables twice, doesn't seem to be a problem there. No change at all. One thing I've noticed is when I switch to the Xbox input the pcm light comes on. It doesn't do that with the other inputs. If anyone can give me some guidance on this that would be fantastic. Thanks!

To clarify… all sources are connected to hdmi inputs on the receiver, then out to the TV. They aren’t connected directly to the TV. Then you get video but no audio.

Yes, everything is running through the receiver and ran up to the tv. The only thing correctly playing sound (full surround) is the Xbox one.

The only thing I can come up with is that the hdmi board is dying. That would be a big coincidence, but I’m at a loss for any other explanation.

I had thought the same thing maybe, but it seems pretty sudden that it would quit just like that and only on 2 sources

No there hasn't been sound on either the bluray or cbl/sat sources for days. The Xbox has sound immediately when you switch to that input just like normal, and just as everything did before it was unplugged and moved to the new stand.

Had a similar issue that I finally figured out. I had to go into the setup menu and turn on the HDMI source/input for each source - somehow it was either turned off by default or set to the RCA connections....

So even though I had 6 input ports, only 1 of the 6 would work.

I had added a Roku and Direct-TV devices but could not get sound out of any of them - only the blue ray player was working...

After going to the setup menu they all started working....something to try....

Martin makes a point. Is it possible that how things are connected actually changed with the new stand? In any case, you do want to make certain the inputs are configured for hdmi audio, and the source outputs are configured for hdmi audio out. That's the only other thing I can think of as opposed to a failing hdmi board.
