Denon 4802R rear surround help (1 Viewer)

The Denon manual states that to get Zone 2 amplification I need to wire zone 2 speakers to the zone2/surround back terminals on the reciever. It then says to select the appropriate setting in the set up menu. However, I have a 7 channel setup. The question is this. Can I get true 7 channel surround (with the properly encoded disc of course), by selectin A+B and wiring the A and B terminals or I am faced with an either/or situation, meaning either I choose zone 2 out or surround back?
Thanks Adam

Either a 2nd zone with 5.1 setup or the 7.1 setup.

You have 7 amps, thats it..

I own the Denon 4802 by the way.

...or...a 7.1 setup and your zone 2 speaker wires routed to a seperate amp, then from the seperate amp to the zone 2 speakers.

It can be done with a 7.1 system, just need another amp for the zone 2 speakers.

Actually, in a 7.1 setup, you would use the multisource/zone2 preout terminals to a second amp.
I also own a 4802...............
