denon 4802 price question (1 Viewer)

I have heard people on this forum talking about getting the 4802 for an average of 1700 dollars. Most people have said it was trough 6th ave. I called them today and they told me the best they could do is 2200 plus shipping. I was wondering how people are getting this cheaper price.

has anyone bought from bydig or from crazy eddie. Crazy eddie claims that they buy from authorized distributors so that they are covered by the warranty is this true?

I purchased a 4802 from 6th Ave. back in August for $1650 plus $25 shipping. They matched the price Crazy Eddie was advertising. (They are currently advertising $1644). At the time I bought Crazy Eddie's would have charged me $110 to ship the unit so when 6th offered to ship it for $25 I ordered it on the spot and I didn't have to worry about the warranty.
