DENON: 4802 & 5 Ch. Amp OR 5800 & Wait 4 Upg. OR Wait for the 5802? (1 Viewer)

Should I:
(a) buy a 4802 & a 200 w/ch 5.1 amp
or
(b) buy a 5800 and wait for the upgrade to obtain the same pre/pro features as the 4802 has now
or
(c) wait for the 5802?

Gee Murray...I wish I were in your position. Here I am trying to decide if I should take the "big plunge" and spring for a 3801 on closeout!

If it were my system, I would buy the 4802 & the 5ch amp.
I currently own an Onkyo 787 reciever, which was pretty good by itself, but once I used it as just a pre/pro for 5 Marantz MA700 200watt monoblocks, the difference was unbelievable. Seperate amplifiers are the way to go. Dynamics, seperation, etc. everything was much better.
