Denon 3802.. how will i set my speakers to 6 ohm?

    İ’ve searced the manuel and i couldnt find any info on it..how shall i change my 3802 speaker settings to 6 ohm or 8 ohm? i have Def Tech BP2006TLs for the mains and they are 4-8 ohm compatible.. any idea??

    Umit,

    You can't. The amplifiers within the Denon unit will simply supply more current to these speakers (than a higher nominal ohm impedance). There is no 4/8 ohm switch. At 6 ohms, there would be no problem. The specs on those speakers, what do they say with respect to the nominal ohm impedance, or do they truly give a range of 4-8?

    Dont worry about it. Just hook up those speakers and enjoy your system. Just make sure the 3802 is well ventilated. Let the 3802 worry about speaker impedance. The power supply is more than adequate to handle 6 ohm spekers.
