I ordered my 3802 and have a couple of questions about which cables to buy. I have the following-
Toshiba sd-2200
Sony VCR slv-n50
Old Magnavox TV
Old Pioner Cd player
Now to the question, I want to use the OSD feature on the 3802 and think I remember reading that you have to use componet or composite inputs to make it work. Which one is it. My TV only has a coax imput or a "TV in" selection for video in, there isnt any s-video or (cant remember the name) the 3 input one. In the near future(6 months or so) I will upgrading to a big screen so I would rather not waste to much money in the cables, or if there are adapters that I can buy so when I get the big screen that I can just take off, that would be nice to. Any help would be apreciated-

I'm not an expert on cables, but I can answer your OSD question. The OSD will work on the composite and S-Video output, but not the component. The reason (as explained ot me) is that it is impossible to overlay the text on HD signals that could be passed through the component connection.
