Just read over at AVS Forum that Denon has put out a firmware upgrade to fix the chroma issue on both the 3800 and 9000. It was a Denon rep who posted the thread. He said that they will be giving out the upgrade to those that ask for it, but it won't be available on their website do to security reasons. New units will ship w/the new firmware version and he will list the serial numbers of these new units as they become available. This is good news, although now I have to cough up a grand to re-purchase this unit as I returned my 3800 for the 1600.[IMG]

So what was that Shrink/Zoom feature on these two models supposed to be about anyway? I kinda lost interest in the 3800 when it first came out with the Chroma Upsampling error.
