I bought a Demo Denon 3300 DVD player and am in the process of trying to figure out the connections.

For Normal DVD playing it is simply the coaxial audio out to the receiver (Denon 5800) and the component video to my IScan Pro or via the IScan through the receiver.

However, as with most of the Denon products I have purchased the manual for this product is pretty tough to follow.

What connection do I need to use to listen to DVD-A?

Do I need to connect the 5.1 outputs to the 5.1 inputs on my receiver, or does DVD-A go through the digital coaxial audio connection?

    Thanks,
    Mike

You're going to need 3 pair of audio cables hooked into the direct inputs on the back of the receiver.

    Thanks,

Thats what I thought, but I did not want to spend the money if I was in error.
