I'm trying to decied between the two recivers. I currently own a 15 year old Denon pro logic reveiver that I'm going to replace. It has been flawless and has never been in the shop.

My question is how is the realiablity of the Pioneer Elite series compared to the Denon? I have heard through a friend at a service department, that Denon has had more repairs than Pioneer. But is that because of Denon may have more sales than Pioneer?

I'm leaning towards the Denon due to the Audessey features as well as the four HDMI inputs.

Any Thoughts?

I don't know if Denon has more sales or not. The only Pioneer gear I've owned is a Pioneer 563a universal player, and it's been a good one. Denon makes very good stuff, and just the fact that you're already familiar and comfortable with them, means a lot. Since you're leaning towards them anyway, I say go for it......... :D
Good luck with whatever you get.
