What is the difference in the Denon 2803 vs the new 2804?
Where did you hear about the 2804? I haven't heard anything on the 2804 and its not lised on denon's website either.
Several of the internet marketers are advertising it, and I was just about to get the 2803 and saw it advertised, so I wanted to check it out.
All it is is the 2004 model-year version of the 2803 (the large OEMs change model lineups annually, just like the automotive manufacturers). It might sport some "improvements" (depending on the creativity of the copywriters working at Denon's ad agency) and some cosmetic changes. Who knows? Some of the "improvements" might even be genuine. If you can find a super price for the 2003's 2303 at an authorized (important) Denon reseller, go for it. JB
JB - thanks for the info - I thought it might be something like that.
It will probably included the video conversion featured on the 3803 and 1804.
What do you mean by the video conversion?
I found the AVR-2804 for sale here: http://www.absoluteaudiovideo.com/audrec.html http://hypaudio.com/hypaudio/avr2804.html No info on the model though??? Not sure what the differences are. nik
I would anticipate some "bigger" changes between the 2803 and 2804. Remember, Denon made a couple of "small" changes to the 4802 and released it as an AVR-4802R and not a 4803 or 4804.
