Looks like it will do multi-zone, but was just wondering if it will do multi-source as well.

    Anybody know?

What is your definition of multi-source?

The 2803 can play source A (5.1, or 7.1 with additional amp for zone 2) in the main room and source B (2.0) in zone 2 at the same time.

thanks for the reply. That is what I needed to know.

Now my question is, can you control the volume of the 2nd zone? Like, is it separate from the main?

Yes, there is a seperate volume control. The only major (not really major, but important) restriction to zone 2 is the source must be analog.
