Denon 2801 (or 981, 1601, 1801, or 3801) remote codes...help needed (1 Viewer)

I just got home with my new JVC DVD changer, and realized I can't find my Denon manual to put the codes into the Denon remote. Darn open box.

If anyone has a 1601, 1801, 3801, or the 2801, could you tell me the procedure and the codes that they have listed for JVC DVD players?

Did you check out Denon's web site for the 3801 manual?

Oops! I suddenly realized that the "code sheet" is not in the manual (what a dumb thing for Denon to do!!!)
I have scanned the code sheet and will email it to you. In the meanwhile, the code for JVC DVDs is 0585. The procedure that you need to follow is in the manual which you can download using the link I provided earlier.

Sankar- I finally found my manual, and it confirms what I had learned from the Denon; they don't list a code for JVC DVD players on the remote (Toshiba, Panasonic, and Denon are it!). Looks like I picked the wrong month to let my dad borrow my Sony AV-2100.

Are you sure? The 3801 lists 0585 as the code for the JVC dvd ..
