Does the bass management work properly on the Denon DVD 2200. What is the crossover? Does this unit allow for time delay? Will this unit output pure DSD or will it convert to PCM? I am not very concerned with the video performance. I use an RP91 for that. Thanks in advance.

It seems that this player is essentially like the 2900,with few unrelated execptions.
So.
1,It does work properly.
2,80hz
3,Not for SACD
4,It will not convert to PCM
Once again unless the 2200 is different on those features from the 2900, those answers should be correct.

Thanks for the reply, Lewis. I am glad to see that it has a decent crossover for DVD-A and SACD. I do wish that it had delay settings for SACD though. I understand that the 2200 has the ability to add +10 db compensation to the subwoofer for DVD-A and SACD. Does the 2900 have this feature?

Thanks,
Jerry

Yes,it's called the "Filter" on or off. However it's not needed IMO,at least in my case.So it's set to on.
