The 'E" place has a batch of dvd 2200 coming in on 7/16. Have to place order with them to be put on backorder/waiting list. At the same time, good idea to get the extended warranty, can always cancel later, but cannot get it after you place order.

Yup, same time they anticipate my 2900S coming in. The 2900Bs are on site as well, if someone wants to grab one of those.

I got a defective 2900B from them last time. I am returning it. Waiting on the RA#. I got in on the 2900S (silver) this time. I spoke to a rep when I placed the order and he stated they were only getting 3 in silver and I was #2 on the backorder list so these are probably already gone. I figure the silver will be a better chance of having all the bugs worked out because they did not start producing it until the fall of 2003 (according to Denon service). My first 2900B was manufactured in May 2003. Also according to the rep, they were expecting 22 5900s (all already backordered) and another 18 2900Bs. They still had quite a few available. I did not inquire about the 2200s as they were not showing up at that time. BTW, I placed my order on 6/27.

I've bought a Denon with them before and had no problem. I'm hesitant to do so again due to stories I've heard about what happens if there is a problem.

I will say though, this all is very tempting.
