Hi,

I have a Denon 1600 player and I am having image problems with the player. I am outputting the signal to a Toshiba 42H83 and the picture in progressive from the Denon is much worse than the interlaced picture. It is pushing red a lot and there is an abundancy of flickering on in the picture. I hit the button and flip to interlaced and the image problems disappear. I have had the player for over a year and the first set was a 40H80 and the same problems didn't exist. Is this a new problem in the player (recently developed) or is it the set?

Any comments would be helpful!

Thanks

So are you also using the same component cables to watch the interlaced picture are do you switch to s-video cable?

Same component cables. Just have to push a button the front of the player to toggle between internlaced and progressive.
