Demoing certain speakers? (1 Viewer)

Is there any place to demo Swans, Axioms, Rockets, or Cantons?

I've looked at them all on the internet but cannot seem to find any place to demo/listen to them.

I live in NYC by the way.

I'll be spending 885 on a Denon Receiver and will have about 2000 to spend on speakers. I just want to hear the speakers that everyone raves about on this site...

You can look up owners who will demo Rocket and Swan speakers for you at http://www.audioenvy.com/.

As to the others, I'd try asking the manufuacturers if they know anyone in your area who will demo them for you.

Paul,

Axiom's website features owners who will demo their products. I tried to contact 3 of them, got one response (I'm sure they've got someone in NYC.) It was a great demo... I'm pretty sold on them.
