    Help a newbie out please....

I just bought Def Tech BP2006TL's and they are very narrow speakers. It seems that there are 2 plastic "outriggers" that came with them for attaching either spiked feet or simply improving stability.

The problem is that when I line up the "outrigger" in the groove on the bottom of the speaker, there are 2 holes in the outrigger but nothing to screw them into in the base of the speakers. It almost looks like to attach them I need to drill into the base?? Which I am certainly not about to do.

They have a fairly decent manual I cant believe they didnt explain or illustrate anything about this..

    Thanks!

My BP30s and the BP2002s I had before them came with the same setup. The included screws had very sharp tips and they screwed right into the bottom of the speaker. No problem.
