I am adding a second home theater room in my house which is going to be 12 x 14. I was looking at the definitve studio cinema system or the anthony gallo's. Does anyone have any input on these? or anything else that is in the same range.
I don't know about Gallos, but Definitive speakers are very accurate in the mid and upper areas, especially. I have Infinity Quantum 2's, a 4 way system with Watkins 12" woofers, cone midbass, domes for midrange, and EMIT tweeters. They are very flat and accurate compared to anything I've heard. The Definitives (most use the same or similar mids and tweeters) are the only current day speakers I've tried that sound very similar to my Infinitys in an A/B comparison. Paradigms also are quite good. There are often bargains on eBay for Definitive speaker systems.
