Def tech bp2000 tl scratching noise (1 Viewer)

Hi I recently got pair of used bp2000 tls and one of the subwoofers makes a scratching noise..... Does anyone know what would cause this and if it it fixable?

The driver is fried. You’re hearing the ruptured voice coil scraping as the cone moves. You’ll need to check with DefTech about a possible rebuild or a replacement driver.
