I have owned the Def Tech 2006's for some time now and love them. I have the sub out on my Denon 3802 split and hooked into my Def Tech 2006's LFE in, and do not have a stand alone sub. While the bass sounds pretty good, it does seem to be missing a little oomph. I have read alot of good things about the Def Tech 15TL sub--would this be a good addition to my system or would I not see to much of a improvement over the bass in the 2006's. Thanks.

Yes a quality external sub will be a very welcome addition to your HT...in particular, you will benefit from the extra output associated with boundary reinforcement of the lower frequencies. Basically ANY loudspeaker can benefit from the addition of a quality external sub.

    Good luck!

I would also recommend adding an external subwoofer to your system. Even though your Mains have powered internal woofer sections they can not compete with a quality well placed subwoofer.

Adil, my speakers are all in the family room...at this point, I cannot get away with having an external sub!
