    May he rest in peace.

We have been losing the greats of late. I still haven't recovered from the loss of a guitarist and songwriter by name of Harrison.

My god, that is sad. Thats rough. I had to double take because I was sure it said Joey but couldn't believe it said Dee Dee. Sorry to hear that, they really changed the scene of punk rock.

I'm a huge Ramones fan Eve, but I've been pretty mad at Dee Dee, and haven't posted as it all just comes out too negative. I'm so sick of heroin overdoses, but...

Dee Dee was a founding father of punk, and a savior of rock & roll. Onstage, he and his fellow Ramones were godlike, and I'll never forget his sound-off count, his mile-a-minute playing, his stage presence, and that iconic trademark stance of his. I'll always remember him.
