    Hi,

Does having a dedicated 'subwoofer cable' such as the new QED P-SW or SR-SW cables make a significant difference over a standard interconnect. It will be connected to my new REL Quake, which by the way is a truly fantastic product and so small.

    Many thanks

there's not much required of a sub cable...passing frequencies maybe not much past 120 hZ...look for a copper core and decent shielding. maybe if you were looking at extraordinary lengths, you might want to consider low capacitance versions if it really bothered you. the point here is that the sub cable doesn't have to cost very much. many people here in the states pick up a length of RG6 and slap RCA's on the end with good results.
