I have a REALmagic Hollywood Plus DVD decoder card and I want to route the surround sound to my 5.1 Surround Sound card. How do I do this?

Ty,
if you are trying to route the digital output of your Hollywood Plus card through your sound card, it cannot be done. The best that can be done is passing the 4-channel analog downmix, and this only works with some sound cards (and requires dvdgenie).

If you have a SBLive5.1 card, visit this page Link Removed
It has a registry hack so that you can route the digital datastream to the Live, install it. Then click AC-3 Decode in the Surround Mixer under the Advanced options, and you have a 5.1 analog signal coming from the Live!

Does anyone know of a surround sound card that has SP/DIF input?

SP/DIF in:
SBLive platinums do, many M Audio cards do too. I think that maybe the Hercules Game Theatre does (Have to look that one up tho).
