Found this in the LA Times.

"Debralee Scott, 52, an actress best-known for her roles in the television shows "Welcome Back, Kotter" and "Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman," died April 5 at her home in Amelia Island, Fla., according to her sister, Jerilyn Scott.

Scott said her sister died of natural causes."

I put this in the TV Forum but she also had a few good movie credits including Dirty Harry (1971)American Graffiti (1973) and Police Academy (1984).

That is WAY too young. She was also in The Reincarnation of Peter Proud.

Her boyfriend was a policeman who died on 9/11. I think she died of a broken heart.

She died a few weeks ago. Sad. I remember at the hight of her popularity in the 70s on Happy Days, Angie and Welcome Back Kotter.

That was going to be my exact question. Wasn't she also in the a series called "Angie"?

"Natural causes" only means there was no foul play or act of god involved. No murder, car accident, tree falling on her, etc. Sickness is a natural cause, so it could mean she had cancer, a heart attack or any other fatal affliction or disease.

Right. "Natural causes" is not synonymous with "old age." [IMG] Actor Richard Biggs ("Dr. Franklin" from Babylon 5) died of natural cause almost a year ago at age 44. He was young, in fantastic health, woke up early one morning, got out of bed took a few steps and collapsed. The cause of death was a heart or vascular defect like the one that killed John Ritter - an unnoticed flaw, a weakness in a blood vessel or part of the heart that simply failed one day and killed within minutes. It happens. A cousin of mine died in his 20s after developing a disease transmitted by a bug bite, another died in his 40s of cancer. These things happen.

    Regards,

    Joe
