I wanted to see the film but it never made my area.

I find it kind of suprising that they are doing two seperate releases for a film that tanked big time at the BO.

I also was puzzled by the dual-formats for such a movie. I haven't seen it, so I can't really say, but from what I heard, I can't imagine this thing selling off the shelves. I imagine if they slap Robin Williams on the front they can sell a bunch to the people who buy everything sight unseen just to buy DVD's.

I don't understnad why no one liked it. I thought it was great - very funny and Edward Norton was his usual awesome self.

Maybe I'll pick it up. The film was amusing (though hardly the dark comedy it was aiming for), but the extras do nothing to excite me.

Maybe if they'd used the theatrical poster... oh well.

I wonder if it's worth getting sight unseen since it haven't reached Finland yet and probably won't before it comes out on DVD here? Well i guess i'll have to wait until a review comes...

This makes me want to sing "My Step Dad Isn't Mean, He's Just Adjusting"

I loved this movie and can't wait for it's realease.
I wish Ed Norton and Robin Williams had participated in the commentary, but oh well. Hopefully there will be some F'd up stuff in the deleted scenes.
    9/17 is too far away.
    SMOOCH HEIL!!

Enjoy, because this drek and the equally poor IMO Charlotte Gray managed (as of yesterday) to take down a once great company, Film Four, said company produced a couple of films you may have heard of:

    Trainspotting
    Shallow Grave
    Four Weddings & A Funeral
    Crying Game

Count me among the Smoochy faithful as well. I thought this movie was DAMN funny. Sad to see a ballsy satire fail so miserably while Mr. Deeds grosses $150 million. [IMG]

I enjoyed the movie tremendously, but I just don't think it's a film I'll want to watch over and over. I'll probably rent it and see if the extras talk me into a purchase.
