In 1939, the Kordas released a spectacular Technicolor version of this story starring Ralph Richardson among other luminaries. You have now released THIEF OF BAGDAD by the same production company and your transfer has about the finest three-strip Technicolor reproduction I have yet seen on a DVD. Can the same now be done for THE FOUR FEATHERS, which you apparently also own now? Thanks in advance!

If you have access to an all-region player, PAL capable, there is a dvd of the original version available in Australia at www.ezydvd.com/au. There is a little noise in the picture, but otherwise in pretty good shape. It would be nice if this film were restored and issued in R1.

I would buy this in a hearbeat if released. The release of the Korda THIEF OF BAGDAD was stunning; let's hope for equal good treatment on a FOUR FEATHERS release.
